On World Toilet Day 2023, Aiwibi Bhutan Branch, a subsidiary of the global Aiwibi Group, made a significant contribution to improving sanitation conditions in Bhutanese schools. In partnership with the Bhutan Toilet Organization, Aiwibi donated two units of accessible toilets to Drukgyel High School and Drukgyel Primary School in Paro.

Recognizing the critical role of sanitation in education and overall well-being, Aiwibi aimed to address the sanitation challenges faced by students in rural Bhutan. The donated mobile toilets provide clean and accessible sanitation facilities for students, teachers, and staff, promoting better hygiene practices and a healthier learning environment.

The donation is part of Aiwibi's ongoing commitment to corporate social responsibility and its mission to improve lives through innovative solutions. By providing these essential facilities, Aiwibi hopes to empower students to focus on their studies without the distractions and health risks associated with inadequate sanitation.

The accessible toilets are designed to be durable and easy to maintain, ensuring their long-term use. Additionally, Aiwibi has provided training to school staff on proper hygiene practices and the maintenance of the toilets. This comprehensive approach ensures that the benefits of the donation will be sustained over time.

Access to clean and safe toilets is a basic human right, and we believe that every child deserves a healthy and hygienic learning environment. We are grateful for the partnership with the Bhutan Toilet Organization and hope that this donation will inspire others to join us in our efforts to improve sanitation in Bhutan.

The donation of accessible toilets to Drukgyel High School and Drukgyel Primary School marks a significant step forward in Aiwibi's efforts to promote sustainable development in Bhutan. As the company continues to expand its operations in the country, it remains committed to finding innovative ways to address social and environmental challenges and make a positive impact on local communities.
